How fast could you level a non-RAF team from 1 to 80?

Hey guys,

I'm thinking about doing a really fun contest/project for the community, and one of the cornerstone details revolves around how fast you can level.

So all you experts out there with multiboxing, please answer this question:

How fast could you level a 1x Tank 4x Shaman (tank can be pally or druid) team from 1-80:

-- Without Raf
-- Without getting Boosted
-- Doing 75% quests (max of 3 runs per instance)
-- Max of 5% from Battlegrounds
-- Starting from scratch (no gold given to you)
-- Without heirlooms
-- Basically level 1-80 without any outside help our influence
-- Without LFD


Be realistic, how long do you believe you could level this team? What variables could slow you down or speed you up?

will be hard without sending gold to the new characters for spells. getting new spells for a level can potentially bankrupt you lol.

i say 7 days if you play somewhat a lot and more days if you play less.

1-20 is cake

20-35 is somewhat difficult depending on faction

35-45 can get annoying

45-58 sucks big time,especially the 50's

58(60)-70 is cake since they nerfed the amount of xp it requires to level in outland

70-80 to do this fast you would have to run dungeons 3x every hour + do quests.

I'm thinking of doing a contest of sorts, one with a BIG payout, for a person to level 1 to 80 the fastest, using strict rules, and documenting things.

Before I start the contest/project/etc., I'm trying to realistically see what people think they could race to 80 in. I'm talking BALLS TO WALLS race to 80, to be able to make a claim that nobody else can touch.

Depends on time person has to play really. I only get 4 hours most weekdays and i'm only close to 50.

Considering i never played WoW before I think thats ok, plus i'm leveling crafting skills to. lol

how are you going to control it?

I think what CAPO is trying to say is, what is stopping someone from using RAF or boosting with a high lvl character then saying they got to 80 by following the rules. unless they stream and save the streams of themselves so someone can verify that they did indeed get to 80 legally.

it will just be too hard to enforce and relies too much on people being honest.

I have that covered, no worry about rule breaking.

So assuming the rules were stuck with, how long would it take YOU to do this, balls to walls leveling?
