How do I make my chars look exactly the same?

I like making new chars, unfortunately I find I spend a lot of time on it. This is how I do it (using humans as an example):

Manually, for each of them:
Pick a skin color that's easy to distinguish
Pick a face that's easy to recognize, even if it's very ugly
Same for hair style, hair color and piercings

Now my chars all look the same, but they are very ugly. I then turn on mouse broadcasting and click the small arrows until I'm happy with the look of them. Because they looked the same when I started and I've had mouse broadcasting, when I've changed something for one of them, it's been changed for all of them.

The last part is fine, but isn't there a faster way for the first part? I hate having to sit and go: "Is this the same face? Are those the same piercings?" I just want to be able to make all my chars look the same, then I can change them all to something I like at the same time.

The default character appearance is random. It would be nice if there was a way to make this some preset, but there isn't.

Normalizing everyone to the same appearance manually and then mouse broadcasting your clicks is about the best you can do.

its alot easier and faster to do with some races than with others.

take Tauren for example...

Basically I put 2 guys right next to each other on the monitor, its easy with pwnboxer you just drag the colored boxes to have 2 big ones side by side.

I then make 2 of them alike. Then, move one of them and replace it with a third, then make him like the first, then remove him and place him with a 4th, etc.
