Default how do i get my 2 shaman to stand...

Hi,

I have looked at a few videos of multiboxers in action and one thing above all eslse stands out like a massive beacon, Namely the chars all seem to stand in formation. I have 2 shamans which I like but the slave has a habit of looking in the wrong direction and then stands there watching me get wolloped.

I have looked for a guide to this but to be honest (perhaps brutaly) this website is not that well organised as to be able to go to the section I would need to be in to start the hunt.

Could a kind soul point the way please.

You'd want to use things like /follow to make your shaman follow your main guy.

Plain and simple, you'll need either a software or hardware option, to broadcast your keystrokes (ideally something which can also broadcasts your mouse).

Once you have that, you'll need an assist option.
Initially, I'd go with a focus based approach.
It's the easiest to set up, and get started with.

Most software has a hotkey to swap windows between the active (large window) and the smaller slave (picture in picture) windows. This can be called Layouts, Maximizer etc. Whatever hotkeys you use to switch windows, remember them.

Inside the game, you'll have character sets or teams. You might be running Shaman A (account A) and Shaman B (account B). Or any other combination, of one toon per account.

You want to create one focus key, per character on your team. But create the keys for every character on each character. So with a two toon set up, they will each have two focus keys. In a five toon set up, they will each have five focus keys.

The first key is to focus Toon A.
/Focus [target=ToonA]
Where Toon A, is the name of the toon from Account A.
Both Toon A and Toon B have this macro.
Put it on the same keybind as your PiP/Maximizer/Window switch hotkey for that account.
So when you press the hotkey, this toon becomes everyones focus, and this window becomes the main window.

Do the same, but on their respective hotkeys, for each other character on this team.

Now you can hit your key, and switch from any lead to any other.
And the lead toon goes into the main window, and is the focus of every toon on the team.

Now for follow, create a macro like this:
/Follow [target=focus]
Give every toon on all of your teams this macro.
Have it as a consistent keybind, so no matter what team you are on, if you want follow, you hit the keybind and they all follow the active toon.

For DPS (as a caster), use:
#show
/cast [target=FocusTarget] Lightning Bolt

For DPS (as a melee, hunter or wand using caster) use:
#show
/assist [target=Focus]
/cast Shoot (or whatever melee move)

For Healing use:
#show
/cast [help, target=FocusTarget] Heal Spell; [help, target=FocusTargetTarget] Heal Spell

That is a basic set up.
You can also do castsequences, in the place of cast.

#show
/castsequence [target=FocusTarget] Flame Shock, Lava Burst, Chain Lightning, Lightning Bolt

Any toon can lead, and all of the others assist that toon.
You have surrendered your Focus key to do so, but that's the simplest method for assist.
I'd start with focus, unless your software has an auto FTL option, in which case go with the built in FTL.
