Holy crap - 10boxing AV as a test - Results

Okay guys, this is totally unexpected...

Today I set up a 10box AV. I have the following:

1x Level 80 geared Druid healer
4x Level 80 semi geared Shamans
5x Level 72 complete crap geared Shamans

Well I decided to try something crazy. Since tree druids are so darn hard to kill these days, I put him as the main controller of the group (of course I can always swap on-the-fly if he dies), and put my 9x Shamans as alts.

I set the druid up with a cast sequence macro that does a bunch of hot heals + raid aoe heal. I then put that macro on my numpad keys on the druid, on each key that a Shaman uses to dps.

For example, if the Shamans cast lightning bolt, then the Druid casts a heal. If I button mash down Chain Lightning, then the Druid casts a buncha heals.

What proceeded from there was utter madness!

My team was completely unstoppable. I would run into a mob of alliance, and of course they would all attack my lead druid. Problem is (for them), my druid would always have a ton of hot heals up, far, far out healing any DPS they were doing. Not to mention all the grounding totems, etc.

All the while my shamans were laying down some supreme DPS.

Then I discovered something. 9x Magma Totems. ~7000 damage per tick total (according to MBST summed total). YES 7000!!

How much health does that god damn rogue have who likes to jump me? 18k. How many ticks till it dies? 3.

So after I discovered the huge power of Magma Totems, I tried something crazy. I decided to NOT defend Galv until the last moment, when I know there would be about ~25 alliance inside.

So, all by my lonesome self (well, all 10 of me) I ran inside, dropped my 9x Magma Totems, and immediately hit 9x Thunderstorms.

--> 210,000 DPS according to Recount <--
--> Entire ~25 alliance team decimated <--

I know that I got lucky somehow, nobody saw me coming, I came in at the perfect time, probably a bunch of my stuff all crit at once, but still...

Saawwweeeet!

Time to get my healing stream totems on my 80's and then work some awesomesauce macros and really tear it up.

I am tearing it up guys in AV, and I still have 5x level 73 shaman. Its amazing and I love it!

The best part is my druid healer is my main leader of the group, and it is extraordinarily difficult to heal him due to the way I have my HOT heal macros set up. He literally never dies.

Tearing it up galore 10box style whoot.
