Default [HELP] Advice for streaming, Correct Settings

So guys, It's coming to that time where I am about to finish my university / school final project and complete my degree.

I have recently purchased a brand new system, hand built, and can handle pretty much anything I throw at it!

I'm looking at beginning to stream my gaming experiences through JTV and I have read the post the exact way to stream but I get slightly lost when it comes to editting the text XML file to making my own profile.

I have completed the following tests,

From these results, I was wondering if Tim, or anyone would be able to make a suitable profile that would let me stream in a good HD quality! (If Possible)

Your thought and messages are welcome!

Kind Regards,

David!

Unfortunately that isn't very much upload speed. You typically set your bitrate to 60% of your upload speed if you have 3Mb/s or below.

Do you have DSL?

I have cable broadband, not DSL. In the UK upstream speeds are rather poor! Getting better though! This is probably almost the highest achievable upload speeds on a cable package at the moment unless I beg mom to get the 100MB package, which I will then get 3MB/s but she won't pay the extra charge sadly!

Well, Looking at a PDF document provided by ViginMedia on there Website, It seems that in April 2011, I will be getting my upload speed boosted up to 3.5mbps free of charge! This is of course brilliant!

Edit: Provided wrong year

Check the edit! :P

Also, I'm going to convince mum to upgrade to 50mb! Meaning I get 5mb upload speeds!

Awesome, 5MB with an awesome system will let you stream 1080p high quality for sure. If your system is semi awesome, a 720p stream works too, and thats still awesome.

Okay, Well, If I stick to considering I only have 1mb up at the moment,

What would be the best settings to have in a notepad config file?

I have 1680 x 1050 screen res and a awesome system, by my standards...

CPU Struggles to exceed 25 degrees, RAM is never usually more than 10%
GPU is usually like 10% max when playing HAWX2 on 3D Mode

It isn't about the system really, its more about the upload. 1mb isn't really giving you much to work with unfortunately. You can stream low res small window things maybe like tetris, but doing a semi decent quality of a game, that won't really be possible.

First, you have to do a 16:9 resolution, since that is the standard. So use the tutorial stickied at the top, but set vhscrcap to do a portion of your monitor, make sure its a common resolution set that FME supports (you will find out by testing). Do VP6 @ 10fps 700kbit/sec MP3 192kbit stereo.

Ummm, actually the ISP's infrastructure pending, you can get all the way to your set upload. It basically comes down to trial and error in the end. Also, 10 fps makes me cry tim...he might want to(pc quality pending) go with h.264...if his computer can handle it while screen capturing, and gaming, it will give him a better video quality at the low bitrate low fps.

Edit: or rather not LOW bitrate, but the low fps around 700 kbps video upload is where h.264 gives a better quality for kbps until you get around 1.5mbps. And considering his scraping for bitrate, he might wanna go with 128 on the audio...not that much of a loss for what you still get...
