It says those with existing setups will be unchanged so you guys should be fine? I guess I'm just missing something unless you guys plan on buying more accounts

Existing set ups are unchanged.

However, the battery in authenticators will eventually expire, or you could spill liquid on the authenticator, etc. Or more likely, you could decide to add additional accounts - perhaps to take advantage of RAF again, and in each case are now **** out of luck.

Given an authenticator is only $6 or so, and shipping literally costs more then the device (at least to Canada), I'd think the best option would still be one warcraft per battle net account, with a unique authenticator per warcraft. It would be easy enough to color code/label them, or fasten/glue them to a piece of rigid cardboard/wood. Then when you want to log in, push each authenticator in turn and swap from one window to the next to enter the code. That way, at least you don't have an artificial 2.5 minute longer process to enter game; you're still entering six digits per account.

I'm going to add an extra step of security to my account. I will physically glue the 5 authenticators to the backside of my dog, so now you need my dog AND the authenticators. Note: It may take around 12 hours to log in if he decides to eat one. I figure it takes him 12 hours to completely poo out his food...

This idea takes the Core hound pup design to a whole new level.

Log on today, and the Authenticator popup doesn't show up.

Seems Blizz disabled my authenticator because it is connected to multiple accounts. So stupid.

I needed my authenticator today, for each of my teams, the same as normal.

A single authenticator, to log into my five accounts (five B.Net emails) at once.

From the other site...

You can push the authenticator button, and receive a code.
Write the code down on a piece of paper.
Push the button again, 30 seconds later, and get a new code.
Write that code down to, under the first code.

You have to enter the codes in the correct sequential order.
And a code which is eleven minutes old will still work to get you into the game.
But a code which is twelve minutes old will not get you into the game.

Given you can have eight accounts on a single Battle.Net account...
You could pre-click the authenticator several times, and then log in multiple accounts basically at once, with a single authenticator.

I simply enter the password and authenticator code for the first instance of wow, wait for the character list to load, choose a character to play, switch over to the next instance and rinse & repeat.

It's very rarely I even have to wait 30 seconds for a new code, it usually takes between 10 and 20 seconds. (I have an old model, one of the first, don't know it they are different than the new ones.)

Hey Ualaa thanks for that tip, so the keys have an 11 minute life which is good to know.

And Carbs, that is such BS, I'm going to try myself and see if I'm almost getting stuck in the eye with a needle as well.
