Default Goblins and Worgen new races coming to WoW?

Goblins and Worgens are the new races of the Expansion

I like catchy titles. In the last PTR build 4 new textures of Halloween masks have been added.

2 of them are for Goblins masks - Helm_Mask_Halloween_GoF and Helm_Mask_Halloween_GoM
2 of them are for Worgens masks - Helm_Mask_Halloween_WoF and Helm_Mask_Halloween_WoM

Even if the Goblin texture would make sense as an addition to the game, adding Worgens texture out of nowhere is definitely a sign that the 2 new races of the expansion will be the Worgens (most likely for the Alliance) and the Goblins.

I know that a lot of people will love to argue with that over hundreds of replies. I would just like to add that it usually takes a lot to make me post something on the front page and I don't think I've ever been wrong everytime I did. Hopefully Blizzard will react fast enough and add tons of new masks in the next build just to pretend that it was intended. (Suggestion: Pandarens please)

Im not to sure tho, with the whole death knight thing.. more classes might further spoil pvp

If a new class arrives (which I doubt) I am in hopes that they do not make them start any higher than lvl 1. I think we can all admit that it was a mistake for them to start DKs at 55 and handhold them to lvl 60. Its nice in theory but it messed up a lot of the game balance imho.

Anyways, I would definitely want to reroll worgens, which would have to be horde.

I make the assumption that there must be another race to come out since Goblins have always been neutral so they could profit from the war.....

Unless Blizzard allows you to play as Goblin/Worgen and you get to choose your faction... that would indeed be an interesting twist.

I strongly disagree. After four+ years of Warcraft, every single zone is getting bland to the effect of Desolace. I can't stand Stranglethorn anymore and most other zones are getting really dull as well. It's so refreshing to be able to SKIP those zones with Hero Classes, as it's such a PIA to get classes through old zones.

I'm so sick of leveling through old content I most often, get sick of them and quit leveling altogether.

If Blizzard put more restrictions on "unlocking" these "hero classes" I wouldn't mind it so much, however when you get random people who just flat out don't know the simplistic threads of their class mechanics, there is a major problem. It takes more time and effort to level from the beginning and learn your skills and talents as you go. As with DKs, a whole lot of people who got talent points plowed into their pockets via quests (that to be honest were ridiculously easy) who to this day do not know how to play their class.... they just find a generic talent spec and cookie cutter skill rotation and spam it... not realizing that there are situational changes involved.

I'm not one to be elitist, yet I do believe "Hero Class" should instill skill... should warrant some sort of achievement to unlock. A feel of pride when you walk around Azeroth/Outlands.

Of course the achievements should allow for the casual player to not feel overwhelmed but I feel a lot more than "you must have a player 55+ on any server".

I don't mind having to unlock a class at all; I actually had hopped to do so in Wrath but it never came to be.

Bad players will be bad players as long as they continue to ignore the easily accessible resources, such as EJ or their class forums. More often than not, I see level 80's in VoA still pulling 1200 DPS, which I was doing as a level 72 Frost Mage.

I really liked the whole vibe to the Death Knight zone. It helped you along really easily with learning about your spells and abilities without glomping you with too many talent choices at once. It gave me more than enough time to really master my Death Knight, as it would with nearly any player willing to actually put forth the effort into learning a new class.

It flowed really well, much better than almost any other zone sub the Azure/Bloodmyst Isles.

My mind still goes back to when Wrath went live and there were 100+ dks in the starting zone + hellfire... not enough mobs /waiting for quest objectives to respawn.... if only a little diversity... if they do allow you to pick your faction... split the camp to east/west or north/south..... or even better have it be "transitional". They have the data on the pitfalls that their previous attempt spawned... all they need to do is learn from it and move forward.

It was like this with Draenei/Blood Elves for awhile after the Burning Crusade too. There's no helping it with old content, without going back and re-designing it all.

I think at some point all classes are going to start at... like level 30 or something. Eventually when blizzard give in and increase it to 90... 100... however there going to increase the max capacity of the game. It will get to a point some one new joining the game from level 1, its going to take them months to hit max level lol.
