GM only plate chest drops on blackrock horde

I had just finished tanking a few randoms to return to orgrimmar trade chat in all it's glory to discover people spamming an item link to something i've never ever seen in trade chat... a GM only item that blizzard apparently uses internally to test raid content!

now supposedly a rogue was in tempest keep and this dropped from trash mobs. I cant confirm it but how could you link it in trade chat any other way?

That is a lot of stats on that sucker. Might even be worth it for the stats.

apparently it's still best in slot for any plate wearing class. better than tier 12 heroic that was just released. the T12 heroic warrior dps plate chest only has 420 strength and roughly 680 stamina.

I used to mess around with making items like that with insanely inflated stats on a private wow server I setup on my internal network several years ago for an educational lab on databases. with the stats on that a dk could probably solo most of the cata heroics.

Xartin, remember the Etheral Dagger that almost went live? It did melee damage based on the caster's +spellpower? Jesus, I wish that would go live...

I vaguely recall something about that. I tried to find a reference to it on google but understandably only the recent rogue legendary dagger quest seems to pop to the surface.
