Since cataclysm is some kind of a reboot where you can start anew in a changed world, is somebody thinking of a fresh start on a new server? I don’t think there is confirmation yet that they will release new servers but there will be most likely. Before this turns into a new server thread, is anybody aware of any multiboxing communities organizing a reroll should a new server comes up on or before the expansion? For those in beta, how different is the experience starting over in the new world, exploring when at the zone’s level you know. Is there really a “new game” feeling to it even just a tiny bit?

| Senior Member | they nerver added new realms before after a EXp unless the server get over full then a new one might come out after some months. when the exp comes out the numbers will go back up (welcome back death ques) i moved to a EU Muliboxing guild and its the best thing i done, i love it there. But unsure if am rerolling or XRleaming ATM i looks like the Reroll and sending my 80 Over

i think they did at least in the US region and a few weeks after that, i had 3 characters in Borean Tundra - the last server to have locked AQ gates and this was during when a couple of servers are dead/low pop (one was our server before BT). a new server doesn't have to depend whether there are no low pop servers (that's the purpose of server merges), new and returning players looking for a fresh start don't have to be forced to old servers... but i wasn't asking for new servers , just asking if there are plans being organized by multiboxing communities should they release one.i just rerolled at Blackrock and allot a few hours after doing random dungeons on my old server - this is only to make sure i have a team ready for the expansion if it is released earlier than expected and my blackrock team isn't ready.

Definitely stay on Blackrock ![]() Also, I highly doubt Blizz will add new realms simply because the amount of US players has decreased by over a million last time I looked, and that was almost a year ago. I would guess there are 1.5-2 million less US players than peak.

Chances are, both US and European realms will set new records for active subscriptions with the release of Cataclysm. And like WotLK and BC before it, within 6 months a large percentage of those will cancel, at least until the next expansion.
