Question Freezing?

Okay, might not be the correct forum, but I get most attention here I'd guess.

Anyone else got problem when streaming with FME2.5 that your computer may just randomly freeze?

I ONLY get this while streaming, never else.

And it happens randomly, not a specific 5minute/10minute variation, may be either 2-5 hours to 1-2 minutes.. I really don't know why it does that..

Should I try out FME 3.1? Or any other app?

Ty for replys :3

Could you post your system specs and your FME settings?

Do you have the same problem with a newer version of FME?

If your PC freezes, it probably is an issue with your CPU or RAM. Often you won't get freezing until a particular portion of RAM is used, or a particular stress level is used on your PC.

Try running Prime95 overnight on max threads burn-in. If that doesn't crash your PC, nothing will.

Hm, Ill do that tonight.

But this ONLY happens when I've been streaming, neverelse.

And also, my RAM usage never exceeds 60% with stream+ wow w/ultra gfx and some internet tabs up and other chat progs.

But I'll give that a try, but what IF it crashes?

Try swap the ram's around?

It wouldn't hurt. Also try out the newer version of FME.

So I just ran Prime95 (since I had a hangup last night, checked minidump and it said caused by hardware..)
[Oct 18 11:23] Torture Test completed 211 tests in 8 hours 35 minutes - 0 errors, 0 warnings.

Ran it on 8 threads, so.. what on earth might it be??

It just SEEMS like my PC doesn't like FPS games, It crashed some week ago on Call of duty 4 and now on Battlefield 2..

Would really appreciate answers, thanks.
