FPS issue with fast game switch

It seems every time I do the fast game switch the main game gets stuck in the background FPS 30/10 whenever it goes back to the main window. Sometimes the background games also hold their 10 FPS instead of switching to 30 when coming to the main window. Any suggestions?

Does typing /console maxfpsbk 0

in the game while it is in the foreground do anything?

Also, what are your PC specs?

i have 8gb ram

the 6 core AMD

GTX 470 nvidia EVGA

I don't think one g card would have a problem with running 5 games. The FPS error only happens sometimes, but I never do game switch anymore because I have to reload all of the games and that fixes it.

Sounds like something weird with WoW. Try running the repair tool, that fixes so many things, and also check your addons. Also, and I suppose you already have this, but setting your alt WoWs to anything but High goes a loooong way.

I have all of the background games on low. It is kind of strange. I don't think it is a graphic card overload because if I restart the games it is normal again. The processor has been at most 55% with 5 games and other applications running.

I will try the repair tool and see how that works.

In the repair, make sure to select all the options as well. No worries it always backups your WTF and Addons.
