Now I have a Intel i7 hyperthreaded, 4g RAM, and a 275 GTX This is my pingtest ![]() And i have my bitrate set for my .xml for anywhere between 1000 - 1500 I get around 15-20fps in my stream. My bat file doesnt have anything special to utalize my i7, i was looking for help from that. And dopesnt work for me, just instantly closes my command prompt CD "C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Flash Media Encoder 2.5" start /affinity 0 /high FMEcmd.exe /p c:\fme\console.xml Thank you ! please help! |

| Sounds like you didn't save the file correctly, read the thread it shows people with the same problem + their answers. For your upload you will want your bitrate probably right around 1300. |

| people are still putting 'console.xml' into their BAT. This needs to reflect your own xml file.

| I fixed the problem my batch file was having with - CD "C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Flash Media Encoder 2.5" start /affinity 80 /high FMEcmd.exe /p c:\fme\justin.xml Some minor adjustments fixed it. But im still getting the same amount of frames, In my task manager i changed the Affinty, but im not sure what would help or hurt my frames. Currently i have 4 of my cores (i have a i7 hyperthreaded) just handling FMEcmd.exe and my 4 other cores on the game or program im streaming. (Mostly a game, SC2, World of Warcraft) Any further help that can increase my fps? Thank you. heres my stream, ill be in it if you want to respond more easily. michaelzee on Justin.tv |

| VP6 under FME 2.5 is single-threaded. Meaning, it will never use more than one core worth of CPU power. On an i7 that's about 13% (1 out of 8 cores worth of CPU power). This doesn't change no matter how many core you assign it to. You can try use H264, or FME 3.1 (which has a multi-threaded version of VP6) if you are in fact tapping the CPU potential of VP6 on FME 2.5.
