So, I guess you weren't here for the Zul'Aman patch. I had been playing Tabula Rasa a few months by then, but mostly just when the WoW servers were down on maintenance day. As I said at the time, 'my main is now safely out of Blizzards reach.' I can't remember a content patch that didn't bring server issues with it.

You cereal? Yesterday I was getting DC'd and limbo'd in an instance. This patch made me fine tune my bleep button.

And yet, this is the smoothest patch Blizzard has popped out in a while.

A lot of patch days..

Take longer to patch then anticipated.
Have the log in server down for a while.
Have the world come down several times, to fix unforseen problems.
Go back up for a little.
And come down again.

Being able to log on freely, basically late afternoon or early evening, on the patch day.
That's a really smooth patch.

Some of my addons have been damaged.
But none are totally broken, just cosmetic annoyances.
Generally on patch day, and for a week beyond, addons are broken and a UI doesn't work well, plus curse/wowinterface get hammered with traffic and you cannot get fixes.
This too, is a very smooth aspect for this patch.

Today I tried to do Icecrown 10man with my tank being raid leader. Well, the instance had to be rebooted, then afterwards, the server had to be rebooted. Way to go Blizzard, destroy my raid group
