Like a lot of people who grew up with tech, I dabbled in "early coding," I'll call it. On my bookshelves still sit some Javascript bibles and Flash How-To's...but as soon as computer science started really utilizing XML and XHTML and PHP, XSL, REST, JSON...I fell behind in interest. I have some of those books, too...but in order for me to learn, I'd have to settle on a project to focus on...and therein lies the trouble (see child-like wanderlust above). I'll just stick with art and philosophy and leave the math to the pros. Which reminds me...that's an idea for a cartoon for multi-boxing, my little gnome mage fishing next to a forest but with four glowing eyes peering out of the tree shadows while my unexpected prey creeps up on me (like usual)... Oh! Or, maybe something about actual boxing...like David & Goliath. Little boxer ducks the swing of a huge gorilla of a dude...and then delivers a scathing set of debilitating blows, Matrix-style...cuz that little guy is really five little ninjas... ...yeah, yeah...I gotta work on that...unfinished project #899034456 has been filed! lol... Yea i have that aswell, used to work my ass off, got into programming really early, but lost focus around my 20th. Known Tim for a while now which has helped me focus alot more, and started software developing study few years back, so i regained that focus ![]() My main line of work is having fun :P For me that means both software and web applications. Me and tim have been working together on a few things so far, but as he said we didn't really focus on one project to long :P I can tell you that working with Tim doesn't often FEEL like work hehe | |
