Default Re: Exact way to stream with FME to JTV - READ HERE

Hi guys! I just want to know if my computer handle what I'm about to do.
Do you think it's possible for my PC to stream with the conditions below without any hiccups?

Windows XP SP3
Wolfdale E8400 3.0GHz Dual 2 Core
9500GT Geforce 512MB
BlackMagic Intensity Pro
Streaming at output 720p (input: 720p from Xbox360/PS3 & 480p from Wii)

My speed test result:
Download: 20Mbps
Upload: 4Mbps
14ms ping

Please help!

P.S. I know my PC is old... but I'm not sure how much power it would require for it to capture and stream.

I stream with way less specs than what you have but yeah, you should be able to get a really clean stream going with what you got.

Im having a issue while streaming.

My monitor resolution is 1440x900 atm.. and i usually play all PC games at that res, in window mode. However, when i stream, the feed is zoomed in a bit and not even full screen. I have the resolution set to 1440x900 in xml file and the VHSscreen cap stuff is everything (even the taskbar.. but that doesnt show up in the stream). It's bothering me because ive been working on this for 2 hours now and no idea on how to fix this.

Also, since i'm using VHS 2.5.. i can only find the one with the xsplit watermark embedded on the bottom right of the screen.

Any updated links or file download to an older version without this watermark? other websites seem to only link to the really old version (1.046).

1440x900 is not a supported resolution of Flash Media Encoder I believe. You'll need to change your monitor resolution and your XML file to a supported resolution

How do I stream and have Skype enabled at the same time? Whenever I stream I can't do phone calls on skype because it says my sound card is being used or something (obviously by the stream) and if I'm in a call and I try to start the stream up it just shuts off instantly. Help would be appreciated, thanks.

Question Re: Exact way to stream with FME to JTV - READ HERE

Hi,

got 2 questions to this streaming style..

Everything works fine so far and some games run in fullscreen with best quality (like warcraft 3 or LOL)

Problem beeing, the interface is flickerling and this gets really annoying.

Any solution to this problem?

Here at minute 3: http://www.justin.tv/aldigital/b/282107321?

You can watch my DOTA recordings here: aldigital on Justin.tv

Also, stream wont go fullscreen in lower resolutions. 1680x1024 is not supportet wich forces the programm to take 1920x1280.

How can i get the stream in fullscreen if my resolution is 1680x1024?

Thanks for the help guys!!

Don't stream in fullscreen. Try windowed fullscreen and you shouldn't see any more flickering
