Default Re: Exact way to stream with FME to JTV - READ HERE

Hey im just wondering, can anyone clarify how to make FME high CPU priority?

Code:
CD "C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Flash Media Encoder 2.5"
start /affinity 80  /high FMEcmd.exe /p c:\fme\console.xml
im not exactly sure how to work that into my current .bat file.

Code:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Flash Media Encoder 2.5\FMEcmd.exe" /p c:\fme\justin.xml
im running an i7 920 and im getting decent framerate in the stream but my CPU never goes over 60% usage for some reason. maybe setting the priorities will fix this.

Alright I have a problem. The spot from video 1 to video 2 that isn't there is where I'm stuck. I have tried going on just using the post but it's not simplified enough for my puny mind to handle.

I was already having a little trouble with it, so that one little part missing just smashed my head inside out and now I have no idea what to do.

If anyone could help me with this part it would be greatly appreciated.

Would kind of help if you were more specific as to where you're stuck at. Or at least where you ended off at. Also, if you can list your hardware specs (RAM, CPU Speed & Upload/Download Speed).

At the end of part 1, he was making a Justin.XML but the video ended, and then part 2 started sometime later skipping the part in between the two videos. So that's where I'm stuck, I'm up to the part where he was about to make the Justin.XML and whatever else he did before part 2.

There's text instructions you can follow as well. You'll need to copy a good chunk of text into your XML file, so it might be best to do that

What you can also do is open up your FME and make all the changes you need to as far as framerate/bitrate, sound and then save the profile into the FME folder. Go to the profile and click edit as a notepad file.

To answer the first question: change the width and height values in your justin.xml file to that of your monitor resolution. That might be why you get the scrolling.

Code:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-16"?>
<flashmediaencoder_profile>
    <preset>
        <name>Custom</name>
        <description></description>
    </preset>
    <capture>
        <video>
        <device>VHScrCap</device>
        <crossbar_input>0</crossbar_input>
        <frame_rate>60</frame_rate>
        <size>
            <width>1920</width>
            <height>1080</height>
        </size>
        </video>
For the second: I think someone had an issue with that too. Try playing HoN in windowed or windowed fullscreen mode.

I can't use the fme config from jtv with fme 2.5, only lets me use with fme3.2 and im guessing 3.1.

I'm a bit confused... why are you using the config from JTV and not the xml in the tutorial? Are you trying to find your Stream ID?
