lolol, that fixed part of the problem. It still started up FME 2.5 UI though and starts to stream then stops.

I had/have the same problem with the UI starting/stopping the stream. If you use the .BAT file, you should be OK.

I didn't have time to try and troubleshoot the UI issue, but you probably want to use the .BAT file method anyway since I believe it's easier on the system resources.

Azzie's stream looks really good too. A good addition to the favorite's list.

Ok I'm doing some tests right now, but I have a huge problem, I can't get any sound from any of the sources that FME shows, how can I do that?

I have that log when I enable sounds :

Quote:
Wed Oct 14 2009 19:25:51 : Selected video input device: VHScrCap
Wed Oct 14 2009 19:25:51 : Selected audio input device: Entrée ligne (Périphérique High
Wed Oct 14 2009 19:25:58 : Resample Required.
Wed Oct 14 2009 19:25:59 : Primary - Connected
Wed Oct 14 2009 19:25:59 : Primary - Stream Status: Success
Wed Oct 14 2009 19:25:59 : Primary - Stream Status: NetStream.Publish.Start
Wed Oct 14 2009 19:25:59 : Session Started
Wed Oct 14 2009 19:25:59 : Primary - Stream Status: NetStream.Unpublish.Success
and the broadcast doesn't work.
If I disable sounds, the broadcast will start normally.

And I follow this : http://community.justin.tv/mediawiki.../Stereo_Mixing to the letter and I can't get that Stereo-Mix to show up

Make sure the FME 2.5 program is NOT running when you run the .bat file

That just means you have selected the wrong sound input. Open up the FME 2.5 program, pick the sound file, then save the XML to another temporary file, then open that temp file, cut/paste the sound config line into your justin.xml from above, and you're GOLDEN!

Actually, it really was the Stereo-Mix problem, i finally managed to enable it after 15 different drivers ^^

So no I think it works pretty well, the problem is still the quality :/
i can choose between 1024*768 at 650 bitrate
or 800*600 at 800 bitrate.
It's aproximately the same quality and i have around 700 ms, so lame dps over that. Let's hope my raid leader won't find out

My raid starts in aproximately half an hour, you should all come and leave your impressions

Are you using the way I said?

Then change your monitor to 1280x720 or 1920x1080 and select 1500 as your bitrate. Then once your monitor resolution is changed, redo the VHScrCap and then change the justin.xml to have the new resolution and bitrate and fire away.
