Default Re: Exact way to stream with FME to JTV - READ HERE

Alright so I figured out the sound portion. I had to reinstall my sound drivers for my card and use the option "What U Hear" to allow it to stream correctly (same as stereo mixer). I have a slight problem with some watermark as I said before. The main problem now is when I run a game my stream goes black. My friend said that I was still Live just it went black when I run the game. One time CMD crashed and another it like reset and ran again to restart the stream.

Edit the Width, Height, and be sure to cut/paste in your audio device as listed in step 3.5. Go down to the Save options and make sure to select UNICODE!

Hey guys, I've followed the instructions and managed to start streaming, however it is very low fps (10-17).

my screen is at a resolution of 1280*1024, and if I lower the settings in the XML file to 800*600 I can get a good 30+ fps.
however this obviously turns it into only a portion of my screen.
so reading through some of the posts it said to use the VHScrCap option to lower my output resolution.
I tried this but not only did it not seem to change the resolution of the stream, it dropped the fps on the stream down to a horrid 5-6 fps.

Also for some reason trying to start FME 2.5, regardless or re-installing, instantly blue-screens me.

I have a Q6600 quadcore, 4 gb ram, windows vista 64 bit, and 3mb/s upload (I set the bitrate to be capped at 1500, so it doesn't go over my max upload during "spikes")

any idea on how to fix it so I can stream properly with a decent fps/quality? and also any idea how to fix the fme 2.5 crashing constantly? It's wierd cause the .bat file uses the FME cmd, and that works fine, it's only when I open the actual FME file with GUI and settings and everything that it instantly bluescreens me.

overal I'm not sure how some of these programs work and I fear they might be botching up my PC.

any advice would be greatly appreciated, as I can't really start streaming until I get this fixed.

Did you try lowering your bitrate to something lower, like 750 or so?

If lowering your resolution gives you more FPS, you might have to do that. Be sure to change the proper value in the XML file to support a smaller resolution. I'm pretty sure 800x600 is a supported resolution by FME.

Alright, so I have attempted to read through 112 pages but it was getting troublesome. I am going to ask/say something that has probably been said 112 times but I cant find it!

I am attempting to run FMLECmd.exe, I have saved my profile into C:FME\One.xml
FME is my new created folder. I placed the .bat file containing the following text inside it
“C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Flash Media Live Encoder 3.2\FMLECmd.exe" /p C:\FME\One.xml

When I attempt to run the .bat file, CMD pops up then promptly goes away.

I can double-click FMLECmd.exe inside C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Flash Media Live Encoder 3.2 and it runs just fine.

What am I doing wrong?

Also, is there anyone whos quick with code or can even tell me if its possible to write one that will open C:\Program Files (x86)\StarCraft II and begin my stream?

did you make sure to save the XML as Unicode, as well as saving it properly as a .xml and not as a .txt file.

As in, be sure you saved the XML as "all files" and not as "text document"

Having the command prompt window open and close like that would point to something like the above as the culprit.

I saved it by clicking file> Save Profile in the standard FMLE GUI. Should I do something different.
