Hmm, have you tried switching the format in FME? You have the option of VP6 and H264.

Your framerate is set to 20. I must be missing something here, what is the problem?

Run vhscrcap, set framerate to 30 and exit. Then configure your XML to be 30. Then start it up. It'll be 30 unless your CPU has constrains. Real easy

Tim yes i have used vhscrap to set my frame rate to 30, and also changed it in my XML file to show 30fps as well.

Nightmr, i am using v6 in FME, am i supposed to be using h264?

Also, i would love to add screenshots on here to show you my exact XML file vhsc settings as well.

But my file size is larger than the specified amount available to upload here and I'm not sure how to scale it down to a smaller size

Here is my XML portion of my FPS:

Code:
        <device>VHScrCap</device>
        <crossbar_input>0</crossbar_input>
        <frame_rate>30</frame_rate>

They are both interchangeable (more or less). If I recall, depending on how good your system is, one is better than the other. With your system, it shouldn't matter.

I edited my last message, can you take a look at it and let me know if my settings in that XML portion is alright? Or do you want me to link you the whole XML file I have and see if anything is missing? My fps when streaming never goes higher than 12FPS for some reason

Oh would this be causing a problem? I found this in my XML file and would there be a way to change the settigns?

Here's the video XML portion of it:

Code:
            <keyframe_frequency>5 seconds</keyframe_frequency>
            <quality>Good Quality - Good Framerate</quality>
            <noise_reduction>None</noise_reduction>
            <datarate_window>Medium</datarate_window>
            <cpu_usage>Dedicated</cpu_usage>

Aha! I think that might have helped. frame rate when up from 12 to 20 now. I'm not sure if it will go higher but it might if i increase the frames? Thank you for that weird how it wouldnt go higher unless i changed those two things. I have 2 cards running in crossfire but only one is being used when i play games in windowed which somewhat limits my FPS a little. Would it be only going up to 20fps because it is splitting the rest with my game? I normally get around 60-70fps with 1 card in starcraft 2. around 120 with 2

I'm not sure. I haven't really tweaked my stream all that much due to the slow-ish upload speed at my house. Worth a try I suppose.
