Elemental Shamans cooldown removed on Chain Lightning....!!

I was just reading the notes on Patch 4.3 when this hit me in the face:

Elemental’s AE damage was still not competitive with the rotations of other DPS specs, so we buffed Earthquake and removed the cooldown on Chain Lightning

Whoa! Chain Lightning is one of my favorite spells in the entire WoW. This almost is making me thinking about doing Shamans again.

I wonder what the Earthquake buffs will be like?

nice, this is good news! as we know elemenal shamans got nerfed pretty bad somewhere in WOTLK, but now it got me thinking, shamans gonna do well in 5v5 again. You should create shamans. 5x goblins. or create at least 4x and ill grab my healer and we can do 5v5s

One more reason to start multiboxing again! I loved chain lighting That would definitely make leveling my 80 shaman to 85 a lot easier.

It wasn't that hard to level from 80 to 85 at all. I did quests, when i got bored i went to blackrock, and did that instance over and over, nice chunk of XP i had to skip one boss, i cant do it without a tank, or healer, did some quests again, i did mob tagging in deepholm they respawn like crazy, northwest, on edge, than i cleared completely vortex pinnacle, and did that over and over., i moved to new areas ones i leveled just to push my rested XP, i did bg's only at 83-84, I woulnt even Q up at 80-82, because you can get owned fast, and become a dinner for level 84's. AV weekend is always fun.

Yea if I did Shamans again I wouldn't do 5, I almost surely would do 3 (or maybe 4). Doing a lower number allows you to take advantage of the LFD dungeon system, which is a ton of fun. Plus in BGs you become a smaller, tighter, more agile group.

So prior to the upcoming patch, how do you think Shamans are doing in BGs anyway these days?

elemental shamans hit ok!, they are not same as before in wotlk , everything died back than, thats why it was a cake walk in 5v5s because of HP of the healer, you hit one target done! but check out the video of this guy: GORKSY Shaman just look on youtube he has few vids out he knw how to play elemental shaman, plus i bet it would be tons of fun to have goblin with engineering...you know rocket boots and parachute :d

but i think upcoming patch is awesome for elementals, i really see advatage in 5v5s but again, when people try to pug 5v5s they dont even know after which target to go.

go 5 shamans i have 5 shamans we can destroy AV lol

This is going to make battlegrounds against a MBing shaman group a royal pain, and playing them even more awesome...
Considering i dont really multibox all that often, and usually dont get past dualboxing different classes, i think i aint going to like this in practice much xD
