| Is there any thread here for tactics for multiboxers to use for bosses or troublesome mobs on the forums? I know that I've had a hell of a time in UK till I figured it out through trial and error (done the instances solo in regular groups multiple times though so knowing the fights aren't an issue) cause atm i'm in nexus and the Grand Magus Telestra is giving me that hell of a time, though in the way that causes all my 5 to lay on the floor dead. I saw tim's video where the boss didn't toss him around like a rag doll, was that before a patch where the throwround wasn't an issue? |

| Chain heal is pretty damn good. By the way theres a crapload of videos/strats here: Multiboxing Videos | Multiboxing.com - Multiboxing in World of Warcraft and more! For most boss encounters, usually it requires you to wipe a few times, but once you get the hang of it, then its like eating cake. |

| I made movies of all my wrath encounters. You can find them here: www.youtube.com/grindersinc For Cata encounters, I am making both movies and guides for mboxers. They are here on these forums <Grinders Inc> Multiboxing Throne of the Tides - Normal <Grinders Inc> Multiboxing Normal Blackrock Caverns <Grinders Inc> Multiboxing The Stonecore - Normal I cleared all 7 bosses in normal halls of origination (movies sitting somewhere on my computer) and all bosses in normal grim batol (have not made movie yet) So thes are coming up For difficult mobs, I plan on making movies on how to tackle them. They won't be for wrath dungeons though (no time to go back and do those) but they will be for cata dungeons (both normal and heroics). These will probably be on the blog (see sig) I hope soon, my schedule is so unpredictable, will all RL stuff and trying to game ![]() The first boss of Nexus can be frustrating. The key to the fight is to recover quickly from the toss in the air. If you take a closer look at my movie, you will see that once she drops my team back on the ground, they all start running back to her. How this is achieved is by combining an assist macro and IWT. My slaves have an /assist macro with my tank (who has the boss as a target). I click that button and then the IWT button. This makes them face the boss again, target her, and start running towards her. Of course you don't them actually interacting with her so as they start running in her direction, I nudge my back button so they stop and start dpsing her again. The split is also another part of the encounter that needs to be done right. First bring down the purple image, then frost, then fire. The assist and iwt technic is very important for mboxing, so I highly recommend you have those buttons ready (for me it's numpad 0 and decimal) and you practice doing them, because in cata you will need them on almost every fight. I hope this helps. If you need more assistance just drop a line here, or post a comment on my vids Cheers |

| Ok. Yeah I know about the tactics for the boss, it was just gaining control and healing, but yeah, dying a few times or alot helps with knowing how to co-ordinate properly in some fights. |

| Just curious, do any multiboxers grind out old Lich King heroics for loot or BOE epics or anything? I que'd today for fun on an old school 5man ICC and it que'd pretty fast, seems like people are running them a lot. I just can't seem to figure out why? |

| Some peeps are doing it for easy leveling in instances, cloth and enchant maps for professions and the older content is easier than the current instances. That is only a hypothosis though.

| Yeah i'm just doing them occasionally for when I get a quest, or want to get better gear for my toons at that level range. Eventually i'll grind them later to make mass amounts of frostweave bags, for gold, and of course, tabard rep. |
