Creating your first 5 RAF accounts

Starting out:

- main account (M1), with all your current leveled toons
- already using battle.net login

How to?

- setup new RAF accounts

There appears to be two ways to set your initial 4 RAF accounts.

1. M1 -> RAF1, RAF2, RAF3, RAF4
2. M1 -> RAF1;
RAF1 -> RAF2;
RAF2 -> RAF3;
RAF3 -> RAF4;

Questions:

* what are the pros and cons of option 1. and option 2. for RAFing?
* when creating new RAF accounts do you use the email address of your main (M1) account or do you use any other valid email you can check? Does it matter?

PS. Tim how about a wiki here somewhere for this? The less questions on howto set this up, the more multiboxers

with option 2 you get a free mount at level 60 for 4 out of 5 accounts and a month free on the referrals,

with option one, only the one account gets the mounts but gets 4 months free.

[edit] the free month comes after one full month sub is paid, while the mount is after 2 months.

it doesn't matter, i recommended merging all five accounts into one battle.net account so its best to use only one email address, of course b.net isn't needed just yet.

i would go for

opt 2 for the mounts if not one accont will have 4 mouts for you just give to chars you probey nerver use

i used the same Email addess and its even says in the faq You can be your olny friend Eg same names/email etc


i use a blatte.net as its easyer to mange my acconts

one prob is though my setup is Accont1 > Raf1
Accont2 > Raf2

And it runs on about 260% exta xp or somethink silly as some the xp your loseing as your in a biger group still get 2 levels in 1 Dugon As am 4 maning stuff the xp is better then a 5 man group

How does gifting levels work with these RAF chains?

For every two levels the referred account gets, it can grant one level to the account that referred it , but of course you can't grant over the referred accounts level of course.

So lets take this an an example
M1 -> RAF1;
RAF1 -> RAF2;
RAF2 -> RAF3;
RAF3 -> RAF4;

lets say Raf4 is level 10 while the rest are 9.

raf4 cant grant raf3 a level
raf3 can grant raf2 a level and so on.

but if raf3 was level 10 while the rest were 9,
raf3 couldn't grant raf4 a level but could grant raf2,

basically the same rules apply no matter what way you set it up

infact thats not 100% ture as you can get 310% with the 1-80 gear (bug)

But if you got other players in your groups the xp per kill is less its still 300% but less xp a mod as its sherd out more like when 3 do a dungon its better xp then it is when 5 do it etc.

i tryed this out and if you kill a mod with 2 its more xp then killing the same level mod same level players then you get killing it with 4 but ya its not raf its the way the game is
