Correct way to copy one server settings to another?

I don't want to mess up my main char settings (I think its saved serverside but not %100 on that). I want my screen layout exactly like it is now on another server, do i just copy that server folder over to new char on other server and should match up?

The spell icons naturally would not be there cause different character types.

C:\Users\Public\Games\World of Warcraft\WTF\Account copy the AccounName and change the stuff inside server name and char name (make sure u keep the ones that was in caps in as caps) still some addons will need moveing or go into peofiles off the addon and pick your old char name (the one u copyed it from)

ebony's instructions will help for the most part, but a LOT of addons now store settings outside of the folder named for your character and instead store them inside their individual LUA files here:

World of Warcraft\WTF\Account\{ACCOUNT_NAME}\SavedVariables \

So you can make a copy of the folder named for your character and rename it, but unless you want to go in and hand edit/duplicate bits of code piece by piece inside each LUA file (so both toons will have a copy of the settings) then it would be easier just to manually redo your UI.

The other thing is a LOT of addons (if the toons are on the same account/server usually) will have an option to import the settings used by another toon in their respective option panels.
