Absolutely not. Multiboxing is 100% legal. As long as one key => one action, you are fine.

People hate on multiboxers. Out of jealousy or something else. Just calmly say that multiboxing is 100% legal. If they still pester you, just ignore them and move on. It's something you'll have to get used to as a multiboxer sadly.

Not at all. There are actually quite a few GMs that multibox (and use Pwnboxer actually!). They are well versed.

If anything, I've had GMs send me a message asking me for tips. About 2 years ago a GM asked me how I did my "formation macro" where all my guys spread out. He boxed 5 Shamans and was dying to know how I did that.

Do what I do: Make a macro:

Code:
/r  Yo mammy says what?
Or:

Code:
/bg Yo mammy says what?
Next time somebody hates on you, press the magic macro button!

You can ticket if you like, to ask the GM's to put a note on your accounts that you multibox. That is totally optional, and is absolutely not a requirement to play as a boxer.

When someone tickets you for botting or cheating, the first thing the GM's will check is the names on the accounts. If they are all the same, generally that is as far as it will go. You could potentially have an invisible GM watch you for a bit, but multiboxing has been around a long time and the wow GM's know what it involves.

As long as every action your characters do, is a direct result of an input (key press, key release, mouse click, mouse scroll wheel, etc) that occurs at the time of the character action (no delays -- that is what constitutes a "bot"), you're totally fine.

In battlegrounds, it would be nice if you were left alone to pursue the objectives of the battleground. Standing in a tower/bunker until it caps and burns will win the game for the team; running around and killing horde will keep you in combat and be immune to an "afk or inactive tag", but it will generally not help your side win the battle. If anyone says anything about me boxing, I generally ask if they would prefer me to play to win or if I need to mindlessly kill for honor points to stay in combat...

I would not use this last tool often, but if your team is reported AFK or tagged as inactive, while you are actually actively pursuing the objectives of the game, respond with this macro (have each of your toons run it, on the same keybind). It will report every player in the battleground, except those from your server, as inactive. Abuse of the macro could result in disciplinary action, but if you are actively pursuing victory conditions and are reported inactive anyway... you aren't likely to have issues. The macro:

Quote:
/run for i=1,GetNumRaidMembers()-1 do local unit = "raid"..i local name,realm = UnitName(unit) if(realm) then ReportPlayerIsPVPAFK(name.."-"..realm) end end
