| Okay, so the title says it all. Ive been streaming on JTV for a while in 720p, and i notice that whenever the bit-rate that i stream at is above 2000 KBPS then the buffer starts to rise indefinitely I have 18-20 MBPS download and 4.0-4.7 upload so what can i do? i heard that using a VPN would get rid of this throttle, but i dont want to pay for it. Maybe there's a free VPN with unlimited bandwidth and transfer limit? Comcast is the ONLY ISP provider in my area with upload that is feasible enough to stream. |

| Afaik you get buffer because JustinTV servers are busy.. or you trying to stream too high qual than your net can really handle, but this doesnt seem to be your problem.. But lately ive been getting ALOT of buffering myself on JustinTV.. would really like to know why.. Im from Sweden, in Europe, and Im guessing JustinTV servers are american.

| Yup Comcast is throttling you. The company has lied to the public many times in the past about hacking your PC (forging denial of service attack packets to your PC), and they got caught. Now their latest thing is they throttle their customers and yet lie about the throttling by saying they don't. Only way around it is to use a different ISP or pay Comcast more for biz service. |
