| Re: Cataclysm Friends & Family Alpha Has Begun! Well... if you know a blizzard employee, they have to personally request an invite for you, and are limited to how many they can give. With the NDA, you'd get to see things first, which at this stage is more along the lines of the direction in which they're heading then what we'll likely end up with. Still, definitely neat. Kind of like the "sneak peaks" at the class direction. At least some of the spells will end up as they advertised, but there's no guarantee any will survive in the form we saw. A given class might turn out drastically different from the preview, but at the time of the preview... that was the direction they were heading with each class. By the time they get to the stress test, the NDA is usually gone. And that last month or so of beta is more along the lines of what we'll end up with. |
