just a thought on the impossible task of getting in to beta, i know there is no chance of me getting that email that says i am in but what i want to know i assume that there is maybe 500,000 places maybe just guessing and alot i think would be taken up by friends and family of blizz employees which is fine but what about the people who write guides how can they guarantee they get in because they always do.

does blizz like these people and always lets them in.

last thing would it be impossible to give every wow subscriber one day of access just to test the waters.

People like Joana, who did the fastest leveling of a character from 1-60, then 1-70, and then 1-80, they give keys to.

But, for the ability to give everyone keys. There are like, 11.5 Million Suscribers, and on the beta, there are two servers, do the math. But, also, people would go around being butthurt and kill all the low level Goblins and Worgens for the fun of it.

Closed beta has just started. I posted a thread on it with an official announcement from Blizzard, so new keys are being sent out.

Please note that players selected via the opt-in system do not receive beta keys. Rather, your account will be flagged automatically and an email will be sent to you. From the looks off the forums EU has not gone very live let or invites been sent out no posts on the EU cata beta froums much
