Boxing on a new server?

I'm not going to be xferring any chars to the new server, so there's one thing i want to know.

How the hell do you make enough money to learn all the skills?!!? I have trouble with one char learning all the skills as i level up to 20 (after that it's not so bad).

So how do you do it? when you start a new set of chars on a new server, where does all your money come from? I will be doing instance runs and stuff like that with my protadin + 4 shammies, but until i'm high enough to do that, how can i get the money?

I know Tim is a fan of the "leveling gold" transferring appx. 10 gold to get someone started on their teams skills....by the time that runs out you are capable of making enough money with minimal effort to front the cost...

What server you on? The thing about a community, is people are always willing to help other people out.

You could always make a few DKs for starting gold.

I'm (starting tomorrow) going to be on Lothar, i think EaTCarbS or someone else is on there, but i'm not expecting anyone to just 'GIVE' me money. I might have to make a DK on my main account (as that account is the only one with a char >60) and just run a few passes of Ramps or something.

Yea I'm sure Carbs could help you out, I have a feeling any multiboxer would give you a good jumpstart if you rolled on their server.

But I have to say, if you are interested in World PVP, then being Horde on Kel`Thezud is for you!

Wintergrasp is fun on my server because everyone goes in pve gear =)

I took up mining and skinning on my main, and sell them in AH. The economy should be inflated but the skills and starting gear (common) and bags (from vendors) should be fixed. Basically you're earning more money than you need to spend at early levels unless you can't resist the AH for gear but you don't need it IMO, for your first instances. Don't level any crafting skills at first except enchanting (but that is actually a gathering trade skill in disenchanting) and/or maybe tailoring. A stack of copper bars sell for 5-10g in the servers that i started, 2 stacks should be enough to get your skills even with RAF. My only problem is bag space even if i have a tailor in my team.

It's nice starting on a new server with nothing, it keeps my interest in the game. I transferred 6 of my old toons from 2 different servers to one server (because of boxing) and moved 14k gold total, i played them 1 night but lost interest and rerolled on a different server. I should have bought an SSD for the transfer cost but i guess there's no 30-day money-back guarantee on server transfers i guess.

Sorry, i'm already off-topic but i just hope there's a new fresh server that's going to be released soon or sooner.

There for sure will not be any new servers simply because WoW's US population has dropped over 25% since the release of WOTLK. There is plenty of empty server space to be filled.

Well... i was only going to go PvE server to avoid getting ganked... but i've just realised while watching you in slave pens, i'll be doing instances most of the time, so there's very little chance of getting ganked!

I might come Kel'Thezud Horde, see you tonight tim! (maybe) :P
