Default Boxing Interface

Watching over many videos I see that a lot of people use interfaces. This is totally alien to me and I just used a vanilla install for my gameplay.

I want to delete my entire /addons directory and take some advice from you guys of what I should install. Tim's input would be perfect here.

How do you manage it all? When you switch between teams, or create new teams. How do you get it all set up seemlessly, so that your interface and addons are correct.

Links to installs would be great!

Majority of addons have a profile setting - you set it up how you like it on toonA then on subsequent toons you choose Profile toonA and it replicates.

Most addons come down to personal preference. I personally prefer dominos for action bars and Shadowed Unit Frames for unitframes. I find both easy to configure. Most of the rest is just aesthetics really, so will be to your own taste.

Alternatively, you may want to check out wow interface . com as they have a section there for preset/preconfigured Compilations of entire UI / addon set ups.

I think I might need to buy a new monitor.

I only have a 21inch 1280x1024 monitor, which is making multiboxing hard.. because the interfaces don't fit in. I tried installing and a lot of them just run at 1920... would you agree I MUST buy a new monitor?

If you get a new monitor make sure you get a 1080 16:9 monitor.

Tim, why not 1200 16:10 monitors (price difference is almost negligible). Just curious if i’m missing something (boxing wise) since i upgraded my 1080s to 1200s, i don’t want to regret.

A good way to set things up, is to enable mouse broadcasting and keyboard broadcasting for all windows.

Then configure your first window to be exactly as you'd like it to be. And all of the others now have exactly the same configuration, as far as placement of windows or UI elements goes, and settings for those UI elements.

You might want things to be a bit different if you drive with one toon as the leader, and the others are not ever used for leading. Still, if you go with an FTL or Focus, or Party Leader or Assist my Target based system, then any of your toons can lead as well as any of the others, and you'll benefit from being able to do so from any window.

Is that size okay Tim? I think its 16:9...
http://www.ebuyer.com/product/158382

I've just received all 5 of my Battlechest games. I'll be boxing tonight :P

No more trial accounts!

Account A is boosting.

Account A is refering B
Account B is refering C
Account C is refering D
Account D is refering E.

Does that mean also that if I get bored of boosting with A, I can create another team and all characters, will get 300%? So characters on account A will get the bonus too?

Also, what is a good starting team? I was thinking 4 Human Locks.

Additionally...
If its my understanding... the correct thing to do is to not upgrade to TBC until i'm on the final day of my free subscription, is that correct? Because then I will get another free month?

but you can’t create blood elves or dreinei without TBC. i installed TBC on my accounts (even WOTLK on some) and i still got my free 10days (trial period) and you always get the free month if it’s a new account (the original/vanilla (non-expac) games always come with a free month).

orianthi: I would create my dreinei characters in the second month.

I'm just trying to save pennies.

I figured that if I don't add TBC until the 30th day... does that mean that when I do add it, I get another 30 days?
