Default Boosting < Multiboxing

I'm posting this because I've really really enjoyed your broadcasts while multiboxing! To me it's been innovative, challenging and mind-numbingly tempting to start a team of my own, regardless of cost.

After today's broadcast however, or rather during it, I became disappointed that it seems to me you won't be multiboxing anymore in the broadcasts. Sure, you'll still be controlling all five guys and that's challenging in itself, but with a level 80 tank? Really?

Now, I understand it's fun for you, you've been struggling with the lack of a designated a tank, both with the four hunter group and now with the shaman. Suddenly it's like easy mode, since the mobs are way below level for the bear and he's doing so much damage. Sure, it's probably fun to play, but for me personally it takes all the fun out of watching.

Just wanted to vent my opinion since I've enjoyed your broadcasts so much and I would like to still be able to do so.

Thanks!

Julian

The 5x Shaman group are not going to be doing all the WOTLK instances because there is no tank of the group. There needs to be a tank, which is where the 80 druid comes in.

For multiboxing PVP, there will be 5x Shaman (or 9). For doing PVE, there will be 4x Shaman + 1x tank.

Yeah I see that a tank is needed for the higher level instances. Didn't you see that coming though? You've leveled up four shamans before, no? For me, it just takes the fun out of it just to see you boost yourself through instances, as opposed to a five man team multiboxed "properly", at the right level. Why not start a five man team with a designated tank? That would be AWESOME, in my humble opinion of course.

Don't worry, at the rate Tim levels he won't be boosting them long. He'll be farming heroics with 80's before you know it.

Because this is a PVP squad.

Yea this is my PVP squad

If I was doing a PVE group, I for sure would go along the lines of something EatCarbs is doing, such as a pally tank, mage, warlock, shaman, and probably a healer as a priest.

But that isn't to say that 1x Druid 4x Shaman can't tear it up in PVE, including heroics, as well. I just think a better PVE group would be one more diverse.

That is the beauty of shamans though. You are huge in PVP, and really decent in PVE.

Tonight, I am going live at 8:30pm CST! Utgarde Keep, Nexus, Azjol-Nerub (however you spell it) tonight!!!

During TBC I ran all heroic instances with a 5 x Elemental Shaman grp. The only "tank" I used was my earth elementals. I have not yet tried any isntanecs in WOTLK without my pally-tank but your statement "there needs to be a tank" makes me want to try my old setup in the new instances!!
