Default [Blizzcon] A multiboxer's perspective

Hey guys,

We all know there will be a ton of info that will be unleashed on us at this year's blizzcon, but wouldn't it be great if you had a multiboxer's perspective on this? I will be attending this year's event (in fact I am writing this while I wait to get boarded on the plane to LAX). So, in addition to write ups, that will be relevant to multiboxers at the end of the show (hopefully on the way back this sunday), I will be doing something really cool: tweeting from the various panels on info only relevant to us, the mboxers. So if you like to chime in on the conversation, follow me @grindersinc

You can also follow the live transcript on http://grinders-inc.net/?page_id=108

Cheers

The most exciting news I heard was that they are going to auction out a couple of their old realm servers, with specific information on what realm it used to serve etc.

That's weird, I am able to see it and was checking it if it was refreshing as I was tweeting. Anyway, I was disappointed that this ear's blizzcon turned into diablo fest, and WoW got not a whole lot of love. Probably because the expansion is so ready to be released and we know everything already in the beta. There were some cool moments, like when they revealed the login screen and whatnot, but still not much in terms of new info. I was also putting high hopes on the class panels, hoping we will get more formal presentations, but alas those were turned into Q&A sessions, and it ended up being more stupid that useful and of course full of qq'ing.

For us mboxers, in addition to the class mechanic changes, those 'trimmed' dungeons are what excited me the most, since we will have more time for leveling/boosting. I got really excited, I am thinking of re-rolling worgens/draenei and experiencing that content. I have a thing for werewolves (why does alliance get all the cool races ?????) and those space goats are sweet too

I was in line to ask a question for the Warcraft open Q&A, but they quit taking questions when there were a few people ahead of me It was a question that relates to multiboxing as well.
