| Senior Member | hi so as many as you know i not been online much. The thing that been stoping me is with silly drop outs and high lag to wow and other stuff just have made me stop playing wow much or releveling more toons. last week i ended up with a 100-800kb internet as that was the olny way to make it stable stable maybe but useble well...... i got really mad so i took the move and got dsl as fast as i could get it was installed a few days ago but i not really played on it much due to working long nights at weekends. am on a 50mb download and 1.5mb upload shame the upload speed sucks. going from 1mb to 50 mb is kind of a crazy jump thats for sure. ok am paying a exta 20£ a month but i was paying for "up to" 24mb but line test on asdl says i would get max of 3mb but i nerver hit that speed so the cost is so much better. it sould not take 2 days to upload a Video now.

| Senior Member | Quote: i was going to wait BT Infinity – Super fast broadband with a fibre optic Internet connection as my town is going live soon™ the new box's have been on the roads for a good 2 months and we still not a date though its saying the end of the mouth but reading more about it or they do is more the exchanges closer to the houses (still 0.5miles away 15min walk) and its up to™ 40MB losing data the longer its got to go and there is no plans for bt to run FTTH. Sky are planing it next year testing it that would offer the 100mb download on the other hand virgin is testing 200MB (started late last year) and that should be rolling out by the end of next year. But they said they are updating the upload speeds to match bt's 10MB upload the cable guy said to me they looking about 5MB hoping by the end of the year. (we shell see) For the ones that not can not get virgin here a few Q and ill tell you how u can get it installed. Q1 Can your neighbours & other people in your street get Virgin Cable? Q2 No one in your street or block can get Virgin, but they can on the next road down? (normally a new set of homes?) Q3 No one in your town/city can get Virgin Cable? (if this is a no then well your out of luck) it costs them about 150£ about a ft to dig up a road and theres a few simple ways you can get still as long as its not Q3

| Ever think about streaming live again now that you have a lot more bandwidth? You definitely could do a 1000kbit stream with that. |

| Do it for sure Ebony! I'm working on a new live video stream viewer for the Starcraft 2 Community website, and once that is set up, I'll be also creating one for the multiboxing.com website. If your stream is up by then (and it has to be on justin.tv) then I can add you to the stream viewer. That means whenever you go live, this website will automatically show your stream is live and let people watch it directly from here |
