Default Audio help with FME broadcasting!

I was able to successfully set up FME broadcasting after a good two hours of playing around. My only remaining issue is this (I read the entire 60 page post and found no answer):

I would prefer to not have it broadcast audio at all. Is there a way to do this? Failing that, is there a way to make it only broadcast the audio that I get from the game instead of my microphone?

Thanks in advance!

If you don't want audio, Id imagine leaving that field blank would do the trick.

If you want audio from the game only, select 'Stereo Mix' as your audio source

Stereo Mix is not an option available to me anywhere. Removing the options, lowering the volume etc... none of them turned it off.

Also just started having another problem:

You can see at my feed mosg2 on Justin.tv that the latest videos have a large pink box on the lower 1/3 of the screen. What in the world is causing that?

Thanks in advance!

Ah, seems like you're in the same boat I am with the lack of stereo mix. Check to see if there are any audio drivers that would install stereo mix.

As for the pink box, I believe that's an option in FME?

Do you have any idea what option it is? I've been tinkering with this all morning with no luck and it's very frustrating.

I'm not sure if you're capturing part of or your entire screen, but that might have something to do with it. I've never really had an issue like this, so maybe try going through Tim's tutorial again?

The pink is in VHSCrCap, its that color box that it shows you. Just change it to black. It is on the main part of the program, lower left, just click and I believe it pops up a color wheel.

For the audio part, if you just want to record the game audio and nothing else, the only way to do that is to select Stereo Mix as the audio input. Then go into Windows Volume Mixer and mute everything but your game.

That totally fixed my pink-bar issue.

The problem is that I don't have Stereo Mix as an option. I've enabled the options to see disabled devices and still no dice. The AC'97 Realtek drivers wouldn't install on my computer for some random reason. Now I'm not sure how to get the Stereo Mix option.

I think it really varies based on your specific system. I would google around on how to enable Stereo Mix for your motherboard, because I'm pretty sure it is possible.

Maybe remove your old sound drivers and install new ones?
