Hi, I don't know if that's actually a mboxing term (just made it up :P ) but I was wondering if anyone has messed around with leading with 2 chars I'm working on 10-man Naxx currently and I find myself in situations where I really need to lead with 2 chars instead of having 1 main and four clones. Razuvious is an example. I need to control both apprentices and be able to alternate taunt between 2 chars. I tried nuking him with my team (mean GS 4700+) but he basically destroys my tank hitting him for 21k at times So would love to get some feedback on this if anyone has experimented with it

Generally you'll be better off with sticky targeting. Set yourself up so that assist only changes when you push an assist key, rather then automatically target the target of your main/active toon. Then you can have a tank (or two) on individual targets. And press a key to have the DPS start to assist either tank. And as you spam the main dps key, whatever the dps is already on, is the kill target. In 10-boxing, far and away.. the most challenging aspect is the healing. Potentially requiring raid healing, main tank heals, secondary tank heals, etc.

I already use assist targeting now My question is how do I make a macro that will tell my DPS to assist one tank or the other ?

The DPS will basically kill whatever their target is. And the DPS macro has nothing in it, for assist or changing target. So unless you push Macro 1 = Assist Tank 1, or Macro 2 = Assist Tank 2, they stay on whatever you put them on. If you want to get creative, you could balance your DPS into two halves. And then go with four assist keys. Not sure if there are that many encounters where you need two things to die at the same time, but its just a few extra hotkeys, which isn't much of a price to pay for that functionality.

I meant if I could combine both assists in the same macro instead of having to put 2 different macros for my tanks. But I guess I could make changes to my action bar for the fight.

| Can't be done, mostly because /assist pays no attention to [mod:xx]. You might look at the macro facility in Jamba if you're always having the same slaves assist a specific tank, but having two macros/keypresses is safest.
