Default Anybody here farming Hilts?

So it looks like I should be farming Hilts to try and get my Shamans all their awesomesauce 1h caster weapon.

Is anybody here currently farming heroic ICC 5mans for Hilts?

If so, could you post your strategy and what you think is the most efficient way?

I might do some broadcasts specifically on hilt farming.

Thx

Its pretty simple. Go in, destroy all of the trash, and walk out and reset. As long as you dont kill a boss, you can reset it just like and just as often as a normal instance.

For Forge of Souls, just kill everything to the first boss.

For Pit of Saron, you can clear the entire mining area.

Its not really practical in Halls of Reflection since the only trash is part of the first boss gauntlet. The only way out when youre doing that is killing the boss (which saves you) or wiping (which will rack up a nice repair bill).

If you mean by killing trash and resetting, I'm not.
I am however clearing all the instances with 2 different 5men grps every day.

No patience for trash farming.

Just farm ToC normal for a few hours, then ur set.
Atleast for PoS trash farming.

This game have turned into a giant clownparty.
5min after you have dinged 80 u can kill 5men instances that gives ilvl232 itamz.

Id suggest taking a dedicated tank. While it is just trash, its high-tier heroic trash, some of the mobs will wreck a plate DPSer (I may or may not have pulled aggro and found out). I cant imagine 5x shaman would fare much better.

hehe ok, I will be running with a
tank - 2x shaman dps - resto shaman - and a friend DK tank/dps
so i think it would be ok as long as the squishies don't get squished

@vlad

thanks for that info, will try that instance. I do agree getting gear in this game is getting easier. I hear blizzard is adding something new in the next patch, "whenever you make a target bleed, emblems will come out instead of blood"...

Didn't they nerf trash to no longer drop epics?
