Any of you have cataclysm beta access?

I heard just about all the quests from 80-83 are gather x number of items type quests and some multiboxers were going as far as accusing them of deliberately throwing the multibox community a speedhump.

i have the cataclysm beta but not gone that far in to it so dont know, just tried goblin and worgen.
as long as there are enough mobs to kill then there is not much of a problem killing mobs is more xp, but if the mobs run out before you gather for all team then its a problem, and we can dungeon level, well the 5 man teams can.
where did you get your information, maybe some anti boxer trying to stir some s%^t

The way I see it there is always going to be a decent percentage of gathering quests in the game. I doubt its 100% gathering quests because Blizzard is very strict about variety to break up the monotony of leveling. Though since I haven't been in Beta, I cannot be sure they haven't changed their view.

My argument: How is this different from WotLK?

My observation is that Blizzard tend to move away from simple gathering/kill quests with every expansion and patch. The quests, as well as the instances, are being designed increasingly complex - even 5 mans.
