Hi, We all know that one way to save performance of background wow winodws for multi-boxing is to set maxFPS & maxFPSBk. But besides this, is there any other way to save performance? For instance, is there any way to disable displaying the Game Textures in background wow window and only show them in the main wow window? Or is there any multi-boxing software have more build in features to save performance of background wow winodws? And for Pwnboxer, it said that it has a lot of build in features to save performance, but comparing with other multiboxing tools like keyclone, what's the new features it has to save performance? Currently, I know the following ways to save performance of multi-boxing wow, please add more if you know any other ways. 1. Using maxFPS & maxFPSBk 2. Using more cpus if you have more than 2 cpus (the default setting of wow only use 2 cpus) 3. Adjust the graphic setting to low, disable the game music 4. Set the window size to the smallest 5. Using more computers or Upgrade hardwares (but it's not saving performance) thanks.

You could run lower settings on the slave windows, beside just frames per second. I have a macro, which runs on toon switching. It lowers the settings on the slaves. And raises the settings on the new master.

A big thing is core assignment. If you have a dual core CPU, assign core0 to your main game, and your other games to core1. If you have a quad core, assign core0+1 to your main, and then core2 to two games, and core3 to two games. Also, Pwnboxer has some things built-in (trade secret) which nearly cut down CPU requirements by half on medium-class systems, which helps a ton. For example, on my PC, each alt window WoW only takes about 1-3% cpu, closer to 1. I have a hugely fast system, but still, thats a tiny amount of CPU.
