Hey all, 2011 seems to be the year of MMOs, with RIFT leading the way. So many new ones coming out, both free (w/ingame transactions) and subscription (like WoW). Just curious, are there any ones that you guys are looking forward to? Here is the almighty list: MMORPG.com : The Largest List of Free and Pay to Play MMO Games Online.

I've been wanting to try Final Fantasy 14 for a while now but my PC couldnt handle it during beta so never really bothered. I had been waiting for APB as well but there was a major flop!

FF14 is a pretty big bomb imo. I actually forsee them closing the doors to that game entirely. Its pretty bad. I bought the collectors edition and played it for 1 day and then canceled. RIFT is out, and then Faxion is coming, and TERA as well. All 3 seem to look pretty good. I'm playing RIFT now and its pretty nice, and TERA looks to be pretty awesome as well. I'll probably make websites for Faxion and TERA if they continue to look good.

Ye i got Final fantasy 14 on release, i love the final fanatsy games but this turned out to be a major let down, i had hopes this was going to be a great game but after a week i just couldnt stomach it any more. Graphics were pretty great though. but felt lost on what i was doing. Im not sure what its like now on any improvements done to it Could of sworn i read somewhere people are playing the game for free right now as they havnt charged anyone :/ Rift looks good but after FF14 i just dont fancy playing an MMO on release. DC Universe was great on release but after leveling 2 characters i got bored but im keeping an eye on it and will keep going back on any good improvements. Exact same thing with star trek online to. So i think only star wars interests me for this year. I will check out the MMO list posted

TERA actually looks really cool, the MMO looks to be really free and wide open, unlike most MMOs today. Anybody here play and remember good ole Ultima Online?

Quite a few like Eve Online. It's not a new game, but seems rather complex from what I've seen of it.

I've never been able to get into Sci-Fi games to be honest. I played Star Wars Galaxies though, but I multiboxed 8x in that game more so to dominate the business-end of the game and amass gold (credits). Other than that, I'm a Fantasy man

| Junior Member | I'm very excited about Star Wars: The Old Republic. Actually I'm hoping that BioWare / EA will allow for Multiboxing. The game itself (based on information you can find so far) could be boxing-friendly.
