Default Alterac Valley Leveling?

I was wondering if Alterac Valley was worth it anymore? I have heard that Blizzard nerfed it in 3.3. Is this true? Lvling a 5 man team.

really depends on on your queue and play time. If you happened to be in a fast queue server in a premade, that could be a win every 10 minutes, which would level pretty fast. but since your unlikely to find a premade and queues are longer, yeah its kinda slow.

Nice way to supplement your questing/grinding though

When experience for battlegrounds was first implemented, AV was insanely good experience per hour, far better then instances or questing.

It was, a few weeks later nerfed, to the point where questing efficiently or instancing with a competent group was a little bit faster.

Still, a lot of boxers will AV exclusively, queue time permitting. It is far less painful then Northrend questing for many.

Other BG's are options too, but AV is far and away the best.
It is objectives that get you experience.
So holding a tower/bunker until it burns is your goal, not killing other players.
Galv/Belinda is a decent option too, worth a tad more then a bunker/tower, but occasionally defended.
