5 x DK update

I tried UK as:
1xDK @ 69 (BC gear I had collected, DPS gear)
4xDK @ 68 (DK Starter Blues)

I was able to down stuff, but I was guarenteed a free trip to the GY /w 1-5 of the DK's each pull.

I spent the time over the weekend to get my DK's to level 5x DK @ 70.

I went from the Honed Voidaxe to the Axe of Frozen Death (~30 weapon DPS increase).

I also crafted full sets of the basic cobalt gear and put +20 hit on their gloves.

So all in all the changes gave me:
+2000 health (Runetap is 10% health)
+30 weapon DPS
+90 str
+22 hit
Rune of the Fallen Crusader (chance of +4% heal and +15% str)
================================

I went back to UK and cleared up to the room /w the drakes, only sustaining 1 death due to my interface not updating.

In this scenario I feel my survivability = DPS. . . dps kills them and heals me.

I am going to look at how to squeeze another ~10% more dps is my goal.

5xEternal Belt buckles /w +20 str gem (+20 hit?)
Icewalker on their boots (+12 hit / +12 crit)
Nerubian Leg Armor (+55 AP / +12 crit(?))

I have 4 unspent talent points.
On my main DK I was going to pick up 4 points of Anticipation (+4% dodge)
On the others I am going to pick up 3 points of improved Icy Touch.

Anyone else have any ideas?

Any further progress in UK? I actually think if you cleared up to drakes, you could handle all the pulls. Well, specifically, if you killed the 4 mobs prior to the first boss then you would be set.

So hows it going?

Also I imagine having a single priest doing AOE heals would help out considerbly.

I am currently working on their alchemy skills, I spent 2k gold on the AH and bought out like 10 pages worth of herbs and they are at 150 skill so far.

That's all I've managed to accomplish thus far. . . so still working on the upgrades.

I am aiming to have them done by the end of this weekend.

Wait so you are making them ALL have alchemy? Are you following Ualaa's guide to make bingo dollars by having an army of alchemists? If so, is there a certain area you are targeting to make huge cash?

I just sell the raw gems, as I feel I see enough of a profit margin.
Leave the cuts and tracking market trends to somebody else.

I ruined the enchanting materials market ~1 month after WotLK came out, I did make ~40,000g off the AH though, which I blew getting my GF a darkmoon card: Greatness. . . and Epic Flying, and some of my other toons epic flying / pets / mounts / leveling all professions to 450.

To test alchemy as a business:
I bought all of my mats for the gem transmutation off the AH.

I knew I wanted to off load my goods fast, I decided selling raw gems will move my inventory faster /w-out as large of a profit margin.

I started with ~200g on one alchemist at 450 and started making gems.

I've since paid for 2 other 450 alchemists, one 375 alchemist, and now leveling 4xDK to 450 @ 150 right now and have 4,000g left to finish leveling them.

All in all, I'd say I've made ~10,000g total so far.

I still have ~100 transmutes left between my toons that can do transmutes.
