3-Boxing

Sitting reading forums, I always hear about Either Dualing for people who dont want to invest too much money into the game, or 5 boxing, but I never hear about tri boxing. So I has a question. What are your favorite(if any) triboxing teams? What presents the best pay off in the end? What Would you like to play as a tribox team?

Well i tri boxed but, i did 2 druids and boosted with the 3rd been my 80dk
i then droped the dk at 65 and leveled the 2 druids via questing to 80

I'm considering going from dual to tri cause you never see anyone playing tri. id like to see if you could put together a solid 3 man dps team that isnt just blanket class...

edit: hell on that note, hunter-lock-priest might be fun.

I look at one-boxing as a typical player.

Two-boxing, is the first actual boxing. It is entry level, you can run with very simplistic macros, basically have one toon the slave to the other toon.

Three-boxing is the level where you actually need to do a bit more depth. If you want any toon to be able to lead, you need a more flexible system.

If you're at the three-boxing stage, there's basically nothing that makes four-boxing or five-boxing more complicated then what you already have. So it comes down to your goals in game, ie, what do you want to accomplish. Most people who consider three boxing, will probably go with either four or five because that is either a full group or a four DPS combination with an open spot for the tank (pve) or healer (pvp).

Haven't seen too many three boxers, you're right on that count. I'd assume most who want to box more then two toons at once, box five.
