Didn't mean to mislead, sorry. I'm still failing miserably to get into a guild so I can get one toon (not involved in multiboxing) to get full T11.5 gear.

I've been told that 10 Elemental Shamans just won't cut it against even the "easiest" of the Cata raid bosses, thus denying me my chance to use them to obtain Valor Points.

So my choices are:
- give up on playing WoW forever
- keep trying (lately its been in vain) to get into a guild so I can get the VP I need
- pay a lot for a pow-lvl website to get the gear I want
- waste money using 25 MB'd shamans to attempt to burn through Cata raid bosses

If you had only those four options, and nothing else...

a) Give up wow.
b) Keep doing something that is not working.
c) Cheat in a way that will have all your accounts banned eventually.
d) Try to use 25 toons in a 25-man enviroment, for what 10 cannot do in a 10-man enviroment.

Your best option would be to quit.
However, if you find the game to be fun, I'd suggest amending your B or D options.

If you want to get into a guild, to acquire gear, your best option is to one-box. Pick whatever class you want, level up to maximum level. Research your class, so you know which tools are your strengths and what the class weaknesses are. Run a lot of heroics and get the best gear you can. Run dailies, maybe with a boxed team and use the gold for the main only. Enchant and gem your gear intelligently. Once you're near the top in terms of non-raiding play, apply to raiding guilds especially those that are doing whatever content is the next upgrade to your toon.

The other option, is change up your composition but box yourself. If 10 DPS are not viable for 10-man content, consider running 2 Tanks, 3 Healers and 5 DPS. Probably go with 5-6 different classes, as long as you cover all the essential raid buffs/procs/specials/debuffs/CC effects etc.
