Okay ill have a look... any ideas what i need to search for (im not very well educated in terms of pc monitor problems)

I had a look today but i couldn't find anything on the problem... a few people who had similar stuff but there was no answers to them. Ive re positioned my monitors now so my 2ndary is my primary and it works fine with the main guy on the 2nd screen and the other 4 being slightly laggy on the 1st.

(quick edit, how good is the pwnboxer ingame recorder / does it record all screens or just 1 ect)

Cannot speak for the Pwnboxer video recorder, but going from the IS Boxer recorder... you get a basic recorder, if you just want to play around sporadically.

If you want to make wow movies, you're probably better off with Fraps or a similar program. The registered Fraps can record more then 30 seconds of video, and it seems to be the most recommended recorder.

Another option would be to stream to JTV, or perhaps Ustream if you wanted more privacy. You can save the content you stream, to be viewed later.

Thanks for the info.. i was just checking because i already have fraps and wondered if it would be a better option to use the built in one

Another update.. Finally figured out the problem. My first monitor is an older bigger screen with horrible resolution, where as my second one is a newer one with better resolution. I changed the second screen to the same settings as my first and everything worked fine.

So for the time being ill be using a horrible size group of wow windows on the second monitor untill i get a new screen.

Your best bet is always to record video on a monitor in 16:9 aspect, so if you want to record your full screen video, use a 1080 resolution, eg 1920x1080, or if you monitor doesn't support that, 1280x720.

I would actually use Camtasia Studio 7 30 day free trial, it runs really good, I paid for it myself, and really suggest it as the editing capabilities are really really good.

I think im going to wait and get myself another monitor the same size as my second one so i can get a better resolution when im playing before i start trying to record full videos.

For now i will try and do a recording of a full run with camtasia tonight though.. see how it goes

I really do like Camtasia, will be making a lot of videos in the future once I finish a project I'm working on. Quality is really nice.
