Default Tim creates new multiboxing team - Broadcasts it all live!

Yup I did it again, this time I have created 3x Warlocks and am about to broadcast the new team for probably 8 hours straight tonight.

http://justin.tv/multiboxing Live right now!

3x Warlocks !!!

The goal is to level these guys up for PVP, but also to do a ton of LFG as pure Demonology DPS. I'm REALLY excited, so come check it out!! I will be posting an update shortly with how the team is going.

Missed the stream.
How long does it take you to set up all of your macros on a new team.
I'm still doing my macros from like 4 weeks ago.

A lot of macros can be reused from one team to another.
I dump a whole bunch in the account shared macros, and then just have to drag and position many of them.

The DPS sequences are generally team specific.
That's a bit of time for each.

It takes a bit more time deciding what the team will be using at 80/85th.
Ideally, I don't want to get used to having a low ability on "4", when at maximum level I'll have a different ability there.
So deciding where abilities go, is the longest part for me.

warlocks i would give up now tim there fun till about 70+ then forgot about them, clotey takes far to much dmg you spend more time trying to res your char and running back the the GY to pick up up if you got no res in the group i find warlocks do not work with healer as well they have a lot of keys and there anit fear Telport meens the healer is left to stand and die when the locks could get legs! + deathknights wilol grip your healer and kill it

Warlocks cannot suicide with Hellfire anymore. That was an easy way to kill yourself and save the durability on your items (in PvE).

If you do the quest for AV, you can have your team teleport to outside your final guy, which incidentally clears your "reported as AFK" debuff as well. Aside from this, we don't really have a good move to regroup characters who have died and rez'd (or partially died, but not all toons) in different places.

Warlocks are fun, but I'd definitely want a healer with them. Normal battlegrounds, they might be fairly decent. Rated battlegrounds, will pit you against opposition teams whose total person ratings are comparable to your total rating, but it's a safe bet the competition will be a bit smarter then today's battlegrounds.

If you like warlocks and have fun playing them, then by all means go with them. If you're min/maxing their abilities, it looks like there are a lot of viable compositions, but some are better then others. Shammies once more look to be near the top of the pile, with mail + shields, controlled burst, totems, rez & healing in dps form, etc.

don't need healers in Cata with the HP pools there kind of poinless after spending a lot of time on beta seems dps and heal what they need haveign a healing full time seems a deadwight in cata but thats just what i think playing 3 shammys

Through all of BC and WotLK, three elemental shammies could heal all five-man content. Don't think you have the option of three warlocks providing all the healing your team needs through five-man content.

Each has strengths they bring to the table, but the heals are the one thing warlocks are lacking; I'd feel the sting of this in PvE mostly. More then that, they cannot resurrect, which is the biggest thing lacking for battlegrounds.

It depends on your focus, what aspects of the game is most important. A full mixed team that gets you all the raid buffs, and most of the debuffs might be optimal for PvE play, but a one-class team or at most two-classes is far easier/more powerful in arena/battlegrounds.
