Poyzon's Review - Multiboxing with the Razor Naga mouse?

Our very own Poyzon had this to say about the Razor Naga mouse in his blog:

Ok, so I picked this up last night and played with it a bit this morning. Here are some of my quick observations.

• The mouse feels a tiny bit undersized for my hand, but I'm sure these are designed with the "one size fits all" mentality. Don't think I've ever seen a mouse that comes in different sizes.
• Wheel 'click' points are a little stiff (when rolling forward/back). I'd cut that resistance in half. Maybe after some usage this will get better.
• The WoW addon doesn't like Bartender4 (or other actionbar replacements). It gives an message when you enter the world. However, you really don't need the addon if you're using Bartender4.
• The back/forward buttons are to the upper left of the left mouse button. This will take some getting used to for me (sliding my index finger forward and to the side puts strain on my knuckle and definitely doesn't feel intuitive). I previously used a mouse with those buttons on the left side and right side of the mouse, so I have a bias of course.
• Although I'd seen pics of this mouse, I never really paid attention that the buttons on the side are arranged like a touchtone phone and not like a num pad ("1" in the upper left, "12" in the lower right instead of reverse). Probably not a big deal, but I'm used to my num pad, so it's a bit of an adjustment.
• You can turn off the lighting of the side buttons + wheel (together) and the pulsating logo separately.
• Oh yeah, throbbing, pulsating logo under your palm that you'll never see when playing. Still looks cool sitting on the desk.
• No out-of-game way to assign keystrokes to the side buttons (like my Logitech G11). Razer site does state "Software driver remapping of keys is a standard function for most Razer products and we do have suitable solutions that we intend to release in the near future." Hopefully that's "near©" and not "soon?".
• Drivers/Addons do not come in the package. You must download them off the web site.
• Comes with a bunch of 'trainers', which are basically clear rubber stickers that you can place on certain keys. This helps when fumbling around with your thumb and can help you learn home button locations.
• When in NUM mode, the Naga mirrors your num pad exactly. If you turn off the NumLock button, your Naga behaves like a num pad without a NumLock.
• The blue glow matches my case and my G11.

I'm going to give it a week or so before I give it any sort of rating. Stay tuned!
