| The upcoming 3.3 is introducing Kirin Tor rings which have the ability to teleport your character back to Dalaran every 30 minutes. This means that, with the ring, you no longer have to tie your hearthstone to Lagaran, err I mean, Dalaran. Maybe this will open up the potential for people to start hearthstoning to towns such as Tarren Mill or Southshore in case world PVP once again opens back up? One can only hope! Surprising no one, Bornakk confirmed recently that there's a new set of Kirin Tor rings on the way for those with lots of disposable income in Patch 3.3. With an item level of 251, they're a significant upgrade to the 226 ring you upgraded back when Ulduar came out. You should expect the upgrade process to cost about as much as the last one -- that is, 1000 gold pre-faction discount. |

| Are the rings specifically Dalaran hearth, or your hearth point. Because the Tier 5 boots, which functioned as a hearthstone said Shattrath in the tooltip on test, but changed to wherever you set your bind point. Effectively, they freed up an inventory slot in the bags. Just curious. |

| That's pretty neat for a shammy team then. We have the shammy hearth every 10 mins. A real hearth every 30 mins. So that is 4 hearths to bind, every 30 mins. And then a hearth to Dalaran from the ring, on its own timer. |

| Actually the utility isn't hearthing a ton of times, its hearthing to different locations, allowing instant travel around the world. The strategic, not to mention fun, importance of this could be really big. |

| Too bad most of us will have Dalaran as the bind point. Because the ring is a hearth to Dalaran too. It would be neat, if you could Astral Recall to one location. Hearth to another that you have your stone set to. And use the ring for Dalaran. Druids have Moonglade and their Hearthstone. And I suppose wizards have the most options, but they're all main cities. Except for their hearth. And I believe engineers can go to Gadgetzan. |

So if you could have 2 recall points, where would you do your second one? I myself would do it wherever world PVP is most lively. I have a feeling others might do so as well. The space between Tarren Mill and Southshore, which was the grounds for some of the most epic PVP battles ever, comes quickly to mind. | |

| Well one recall point (the ring) is Dalaran, because you can portal to Shattrath and your faction capitals. You can also get to Tanaris (Caverns of Time) quite quickly from Shat/Dal. And Blasted Lands, via the faction capitals. The second point should be somewhere which is not easily accessible from Dalaran. Otherwise, what is the point? I like the idea of a pvp location; on my server Southshore is good (pretty sure its decent everywhere). If you're into farming resources, Gadgetzan/Sithilus might be decent for Thorium in Un'goro. Winterspring or Lights Hope Chapel would be decent choices for Runecloth. Although I'm not sure if old world resources are worth as much per time invested as WotLK resources. You could bind close to instances, which you're boosting your lowbies through. |

| World PVP isnt nearly as bad as it use to be. Hellfire is more active than Tarren Mill now.
