In an interesting change of events which appear to be making Arena points more and more easily obtainable, daily battlegrounds now give 25 arena points per completion. The patch notes state this: All level 71-80 Battleground daily quests will now award 25 Arena points in addition to their current rewards.Later on, a Blizzard employee was seen lurking the forums and had this to say: I see you edited your original post, but I do just want to be clear that the original note was a mistake. 25 Arena points will be awarded for completing the Battleground daily quest available for players levels 71-80.Bliz Patch Notes: http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/patch...atchnotes.html Bliz Employee Response: http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/th...mp;pageNo=2#28

Yea I can't wait myself. This is especially nice for people who can't stand arenas but want the gear

An extra 175 arena points a week is decent. 25 a day, 7 days a week of Daily BG's.

No patch today, but it could be any time. For the most part, they take the PTR testing down prior to a patch. But this isn't always true. PTR seems to be up 2-6 weeks, before a patch goes live. That's my perception, haven't actually tracked the timing.

| 2 more weeks at the earliest. At best, expect a preload of the patch tuesday after all the bosses have been tested more or less and then a week of just working out the kinks. They just started the heroic versions today, so that why Im thinking 2 weeks.

I still haven't had a shot at the PTR. Can you confirm if you get full equipment when doing PTR?
