10 Boxing WoW - Feedback Requested!

I am thinking about 10 boxing again. The last time I did this was when WOTLK first came out, and I rolled 10x Shaman, or 9x Shaman 1x Resto Druid.

Firstly, as you guys probably know, I love leveling a new team. In fact, it is probably my favorite thing to do in WoW overall. Running old school instances just reinvigorates the feeling of why I fell in love with this game.

So I am thinking of doing a 10x box team with a focus around AV and that 25 man BG that I always forget the name of (Strand of the Ancients?). I've loved AV for nearly forever and I was thinking that maybe rolling a 10x team would be fun times.

So here are my thoughts:

I'm thinking of a 10x team where I can have a couple of one-button setups. For example, 1 button where my team does:

• Point blank AOE DPS Targetted Range DPS Mass AOE heals

And then a 1 button where I can have a few in my team AOE heal while the rest of the team PBAoE as well as Targetted ranged DPS.

So what classes would you think I should go? Let's theorycraft a bit for this 10 man team in this forum thread!

Pulled this off of the list of things on MMO Champion. Essentially they don't want 10 man groups in pvp. Period.

That still doesn't sound to me like they are not allowing 10 people in BGs at all.

They flatly said they don't want 10 coordinated players versus a random queue. They want 10 coordinated teams to do RBGs. If that isn't clear, I don't know if anything I say will ever convince ya. Best thing to do is to do your own research on the subject. There are plenty of posts about it.

Queuing several for a random, will get you nowhere.

If you were to queue two groups for the same battleground, and only take queues if they popped on both groups within a second or so, you might get into the same BG once every 3 or 4 queues.
The rest of the time, they would be split.

You can game the odds a little, if you want.
Take the queue with the first group to pop, if both pop at almost the same time.
Also take the queue with one toon from the second group; if they're in the same BG, then take it with the other four as well, otherwise AFK the one toon out and play as a 5-box.

Personally, it looks like five-box is about the only consistent PvP you'll get in a battleground environment, if that's what you want.
If you want to queue 10, nothing is stopping you from doing so... but you cannot rely on getting into the same match that often.
Therefore, 10-boxing (or more) is more for PvE or world PvP; the PvP vendors are farmable for the opposite faction, which pretty much guarantees you'll get players trying to defend their vendors... if you want world PvP, you can get it consistently with any number of toons and be as coordinated as you like.

Technically, they are allowing it. But it looks like they're working to discourage it because they don't want it to be a regular occurrence. They describe it as "using a premade to stomp newbs" which is a pretty negative way to put it.
