Default Tri-boxing

Hey,

What would be a good setup for Tri-boxing it?

I have a really good Hunter and a Priest but what could I add that would make it easy?

Other setup possibilities?

What is the minimum setup for doing instances, non-heroic?

I actually don't think Tim can do Heroics just with his 4 Hunters and a Priest, the mobs hit REALLY hard and those pets will just get destroyed.

There is something to be said for a Warrior's huge damage mitigation abilities. Paladin's too but to a lesser extent, though I have grped with many Pally tanks, still prefer healing a Warrior.

I would think that 3-boxing non heroics with a hunter and priest would be very well served with either a mage or a shaman. Shamans have totems (which help all the time, and are more useful in a bind too - stoneclaw rocks), and mages have cc too.

Maybe a druid or lock, but I prefer the above =)

Hmm..well I was thinking maybe a Pally or a Warrior but maybe another hunter as well.

Didn't consider the mage actually, and I've never played a Shaman I have no idea about their abilities.

The reason 3 is cause I already have 2 accounts but 1 is inactive, and I think I can afford another account with R.A.F. I could get things up and running quickly but I am not a millionaire like Tim so 4 accounts would be too much money for me.

I've healed raids for almost 3 years now, honestly I would rather heal a Pally tank... But maybe its just how good the Pallies I've ran with are.

Verdres - I agree. Warrior tanks are good, DK tanks take way too much damage, but pally tanks, they just pwn. (Druids dont count.... stupid bears)

Agreed. But for a tribox team I'd do 3 Shamans, or a Pally and 2 shamans
