| ok, so what's the best way to start over completely clean on a new server and still have the money to get the things you need? i'm thinking probably starting a DK or a DK group (i have 6x level 80's on my main server, and another toon @ 79) and leveling to around 70 or so would be a good start....anyone else have any better ways of making money on a new server to be able to afford stuff that you need, like training spells, bags, etc.? |

| Super Moderator | Well one way (but it will cost you) is to send most (or all) of your money to a toon and pay for a server transfer (or get a free one to a lower population server), and distribute that money amongst your multiboxing toons. Other than that, just auction all the greens and blues you get from instances.

| yeah, i had thought about transferring, but i'll still be playing my single toons on my main server, i just want to start 5-boxing on a different server so that i have all 10 of my character spaces available to make the most efficient use of RAF. it's just gonna suck even making enough money to level up my spells/abilities enough to even be able to do instances....i'd have to be level 8 at the earliest, for RFC (i'll be rolling horde). however, i guess since i was gonna be deleting my mule toon on my main server anyway to make room for the last class i haven't started yet, i could just transfer him instead and use him as my mule on the new server (along with all the bag/bank space that he already has, so it's not wasted), and bring some gold along with him....hmmmm....might be worth looking into. although i'd probably need to go ahead and level him to at least 31 so i could bring 1000g with me, instead of only 300g for level 10 - 30. |

| I would really transfer a toon over, with a good chunk of gold, and use that toon to boost with. Even if you transfer the main toon back afterwards, you have at least transferred the gold. I'd prefer to boost several teams too, but if you are in a raiding guild that might not be an option. The cooldown on server transfers is only 3 days, but you lose guild and arena affiliation, so will need a reinvite. If you were to start from scratch, on a brand new server where no one has higher levels and no transfers to the server are possible for 3 or 6 months... Initially, have a miner, herbalist and skinner on your team. Have your usual leader as a tailor, purely for the extra cloth. Unlike most servers, every resource on the way up will count. If your team is doing RAF, you will be broke most of the time, during leveling. Pick one or two spells, which you will keep current, for example Lightning Bolt on shammies, Wrath on boomkins, Fireball on mages, Flash Heal on the priest etc. Down the road, you'll buy all the useful spells for your spec, but you will not have it while leveling five toons. |
